Ethiopia’s flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has started operating flights with fully vaccinated crew against the Covid-19 virus, it said in a statement issued late Wednesday.
“We are pleased to operate flights with fully vaccinated crew, a significant step in protecting our employees’ and customers’ health safety,“ said Tewolde GebreMariam, the group chief executive of Ethiopian Airlines.
It is a great initiative which coincides with our claim that Airlines and our industry should be given the reins of Covid-19 management.
We know what is best for our industry and our communities.
Back in Oct 2020 we posted in that subject claiming Aircovidness Directive (ADs) should be regulated to allow our industry boundaries within we can operate such creative actions like Ethiopian Airlines
